100 Joint Personnel Hold Vehicle Tax Raid in Cawang

As many as 100 joint personnel held vehicle tax raid on Jl. D.I. Panjaitan and Jl. Mayjen Soetoyo, Cawang, East Jakarta.

It is our effort to collect vehicle tax from delinquent taxpayers

East Jakarta BBBKB and PKB Unit Head, Iwan Syaefuddin considered joint raid is an effective way to net vehicle owners who haven't paid their vehicle tax. It targets both ordinary and luxury vehicles.

"It is our effort to collect vehicle tax from delinquent taxpayers," he mentioned, Monday (11/4).

According to him, this year's target for vehicle tax collecting is Rp 3 trillion. Until now, his side has collected Rp 2.5 trillion or 85 percent of total target. It means his side needs to collect Rp 500 billion to achieve the target.

"We are optimistic to achieve our target," he expressed.

East Jakarta Traffic Unit Head, AKBP Suhli explained, this raid is not only done to collect vehicle tax, but also net vehicle owners who violate the traffic orders and don't bring their driving license (SIM) or vehicle registration certificate (STNK).

"We involve personnel from Satwil Lantas, East Jakarta UP PKB BBNKB, Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub), Satpol PP, Garnisun, TNI, district court, state prosecutor's office, Jasa Raharja, and Bank DKI in this raid," he informed.
